Choosing a Certification Body (CB)

There are 2 Types of CBs:

Organic BC - BCCOP Regionally Accredited
CFIA - COR Accredited

Both Types of CBs can certify products to the British Columbia Certified Organic Program (BCCOP)

1.

BCCOP Certified Organic Products:

can display the BCCOP checkmark logo.
can only be sold, or used as an ingredient, as Certified Organic within BC.

COR CBs can additionally certify products to the Canadian Organic Regime (COR).

2.

COR certified products:

can additionally use the Canadian Organic Regime logo.
can be sold as Certified Organic out of province and internationally.
